I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth. The National Cathedral apparently heard the Spirit telling them not to rock the boat tomorrow, but to hail the newly inaugurated, and welcome him to their magnificent stage. It’s not for me to tell them what to do, since I left the Episcopal church many decades ago, but I have to say I’m disappointed. (Unless of course, their choir sings “God save America” instead of “God bless…”)
